The Photo Irregulars started as a small group of friends who share a mutual love of photography. Today they have grown into a larger group of friends and colleagues who get together as a supportive peer group where they share and discuss their work, exchange information on technical and creative aspects of their art, encourage each other to produce active work, put together group shows, and to generally hang out and have a good time.

They chose Photo Irregulars as their name because of the diverse interests and styles of their individual members - styles ranging from commercial and product photographers, portrait and wedding photographers, photojournalists and fine art photographers, environmental and architectural photographers, educators and students; some of whom specialize in black and white film, some in digital, some who prefer traditional darkroom printing, some who prefer high-end inkjet printing, some who explore alternative processes, some who explore mixed media, some who eschew digital photo enhancement, and some who embrace it. What they all have in common is a serious commitment to their art.

The vast array of photographic styles is evident here, which you will see as you peruse the web site.
